Masjid Jamek Mosque is one place for history of Malaysia - Full history of the mosque was built in 1909, and is the oldest mosque in the city. The mosque is located at the meeting, the Klang River and Gombak River, the birthplace of Kuala Lumpur.

Architecture is inspired by Mogul architecture of northern India, and it opened officially as the National Mosque in 1965.

Currently, there is a new national mosque, Masjid Jamek mosque still be an important due to its strategic location in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

  • For transportation, go to LRT station and stop at Masjid Jamek. The mosque is located near this station.

Merdeka Square

Merdeka Square or Dataran Merdeka is one of the history place in Malaysia.

Merdeka Square is named after Malaysia's independence day commemoration is suitable for most destinations revealed the historical city of Kuala Lumpur.
